Terentatek

General Information
Similar to the rancor, the Terentatek is covered in spikes and has two long tusk-like teeth. The Tarentatek tend to hibernate until the dark side of the Force is more prevalent throughout the Star Wars Galaxy. This activity is credited to the fact that the creatures feed on the blood of the Force-sensitive. Teremtatek are most often found in the caves and tombs of past Dark-force users.
History
Terentatek were among the creatures to develop on the planet Korriban. The Terentatek, also commonly known as the Jedi Killers, were influenced and corrupted by the dark side of the Force. They were often bred by the Sith and used like weapons as they are extremely immune to most effects of the Force.
In an attempt to rid the galaxy of the beasts, the Jedi formed a large scale hunting party and went on what is referred to as the Great hunt. To battle the immunity of the Tarentatek to the force, the bands of Jedi who faced the beasts would ensure they had a strong Force Bond between them. Although numerous attempts were made be several bands of Jedi, the Terentatek were never driven to extinction.
