Dark Council and Emperor Hologram
The Sith Emperor survived the Great Hyperspace War without the detection of the Republic. After fleeing to unknown regions of deep space the Emperor used dark rituals to prolong his life. He strategically rebuilt the Sith Empire. Finally, well over 1,400 years old, the Emperor had his chance for revenge. The Empire coordinated a suprise attack, leaving the Republic paralyzed. Now, after the signing of the Treaty of Coruscant, the Emperor has delegated control to the Dark Council and begun to pursue a mysterious and unknown goal of his own. 1
