The blaster is a commonly used weapon which fires numerous bursts of particle beam energy. These blasts are sustained by a replaceable power cell. The blaster may be set to either kill or paralyze the enemy when fired. The blaster comes in a variety of sizes ranging from pistols to canons.
History
Blaster Rifle.
While the words "laster" and "blaster" are commonly used to refer to the same thing, the two are not inter-changeable. The laser is in fact the archaic predecessor of the blaster. While the laser fires a single beam, the blaster is upgraded to the firing of highly compressed, focused high-energy particles.
